Founder Alain Albert

Alain brings over 30 years of experience in the wood manufacturing industry. He studied architecture at the University of Waterloo before working in construction, in product development, in computerized manufacturing, and plant management.

As an industrial designer, Alain earned many prestigious design awards and his work was published in many design magazines.

Alain is very knowledgeable in automation processes, with robotics, CNC equipment, and CAD and CAM software. In 2007, Alain published the book Understanding CNC Routers which is now a reference in the industry.
